Academics of ÇOMÜ Marine Sciences and Technology Faculty, working within the scope of Underwater Park Project activities in Gömeç - Balıkesir, attended the Closing Ceremony of the “4th International North Aegean Gömeç Sculpture Symposium”, with broad academic participation.
Numerous Sculptor Artists from Ukraine, Russia and Türkiye attended the Symposium, along with the participation of the local governments and associations as well as a wide public community.
At the Closing Ceremony at the Nuri Bozyel Culture Center, a Project Cooperation Protocol was signed among Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Gömeç Municipality, Burhaniye Municipality, Marmara Adalar Municipality, Burhaniye Chamber of Commerce, Southern Marmara Development Agency and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Murat YİĞİT, Fishing and Processing Technology Department Academicians Prof. Dr. Uğur ÖZEKİNCİ, Prof. Dr. Uğur ALTINAĞAÇ, Prof. Dr. Adnan AYAZ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alkan ÖZTEKİN, Lecturer Gençtan Erman UĞUR and Faculty Ship Personnel Mr. Umut TUNCER, Mr. Umut IŞIK and Mr. Osman ODABAŞI participated the International event.
