WORLD FISHING DAY PANEL

The panel was organized in collaboration with ÇOMÜ Faculty of Marine Sciences and Technology, Çanakkale Faculty of Applied Sciences and ÇOMÜ Sustainability Club on 21st of November, the World Fisheries Day, with the Thematic focus on "Pollution in the Seas and Sustainable Fishing".

Prof. Dr. Yeşim BÜYÜKTATEŞ, Dean of Çanakkale Faculty of Applied Sciences and Department Head of Fisheries Basic Sciences at the Faculty of Marine Science and Technology, and Prof. Dr. Adnan AYAZ, from the Fishing and Processing Technology Department of Marine Science and Technology Faculty, attracted great interest with their presentations. The panel, which was attended by ÇOMÜ Vice Rector  Prof.Dr. Arda AYDIN, many academics and school students, evaluated the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and innovative solutions for sustainability in the fishing sector.
