Undergraduate Program

Undergraduate (Bachelor's Degree) program in Marine Sciences and Technology is an academically oriented program giving access to degree and non-degree research program and professional practice demanding high levels of knowledge and skills. The classification of the program with respect to "ISCED (The International Standard Classification of Education) 2011" and "NQF-HETR (The Turkish Qualifications Framework for HE)" and the codes of the fields of education can be listed as follows: ISCED Field of Education: 62 - Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery NQF-HETR Field of Education: 62 - Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery

Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Marine Sciences and Technology Faculty offers a broad range of courses in various fields including marine-inland water sciences, aquaculture, fishing, and seafood processing technology. In addition to education and teaching in the field of fisheries sciences, ongoing national and international research is a full-time activity for our staff.

The aim of program at undergraduate level is to equip students with fundamental knowledge, techniques and skills necessary to meet desired needs in the fields of marine-inland water sciences, aquaculture, fisheries and seafood processing and make national and international contributions in the field of marine sciences within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health, safety and sustainability.

Qualification Awarded  : The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Sciences.

Fisheries Engineering Program Outcomes
